Absolutely, we offer both short-term and long-term placements.

At Greenwood’s, we maintain a commitment to a low student: teacher ratio. This ensures that each child receives the level of support they require in order to succeed. Therefore, the student: teacher ratio will vary between 1:3 and 1:8 according to the needs of a particular group.

All of our teachers hold qualified teacher status issued in their country of origin and/or a degree in the subject material that they teach.

For several reasons, we have decided against registering with the Dominican Ministry of Education. However, parents may choose to register their child with a cover school or receive accreditation from a school in the united states. This means that they will receive a transcript/report card from the United States which is recognized in the Dominican Republic and countries around the world.

Classes are taught in English. However, students have daily Spanish classes. Aside from this, the majority of our staff are bilingual.

Our students are expected to read and complete an assigned spelling activity with their words every night. Other homework includes working on projects and completing any unfinished classwork that was assigned for that day.
